Scriptur collects the following types of information:

• Profile Information: Your name, email address, and faith tradition preference that you provide during setup.
• Video Recordings: Scripture reflection videos you create are stored locally on your device.
• App Preferences: Your notification settings, reminder times, and other app preferences.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about how you use the app to help us improve the experience.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Scriptur app and its features.
• Personalize your experience based on your faith tradition.
• Send you reminder notifications at your chosen times.
• Generate AI-powered scripture questions tailored to your preferences.
• Improve and optimize our app.

Your video recordings and personal data are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your videos to any external servers unless you explicitly choose to share them.

App preferences and settings are stored securely on your device using encrypted local storage.

Scriptur uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI API: To generate scripture questions. Only your faith tradition preference is shared to personalize questions. No personal identifying information is sent.
• RevenueCat: To process premium subscriptions. RevenueCat handles payment processing securely and does not share your payment details with us.
• Apple Push Notification Service: To deliver reminder notifications to your device.

These third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and provide protection of your data equivalent to or greater than our own standards.

Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the app. Video recordings can be deleted at any time from within the app.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data including videos, preferences, and profile information will be permanently removed from your device.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in the app through the Settings screen.
• Update or correct your profile information at any time.
• Delete your video recordings from the Library screen.
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the application.
• Opt out of notifications by disabling them in Settings.

Scriptur is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
